Hello Lovelies! We bring you a bit more details about the Winter Festival!
Toyama will be holding it's annual winter festival from February 4th to February 7th and it begins once the sunsets. Students from each university will be participating in different stands. They can be games or food stands but please try and keep it in theme with your characters university.. For example : Shirataiku will have stands centered around most sports. Example: Ring Toss, Basketball shooting etc.
Togei students (Not all of them have to which in that case a possible booth is a haunted house. Fell free to call it Frozen Hell) Will be working on Ice and Snow sculptures in the coming weeks before the festival and will be working in teams of two. Each pair will choose on what type of sculpture to make.
Students participating in the stands will be excused from practice during Thursday and Friday.
For all intents and purposes the festival is an eye pleasing mix of light, ice and snow with visitors able to see fireworks, laser shows, ice sculptures, a massive snow stage with music and dance acts, as well as having the opportunity to sample some of the local food,
The festival's activities are centered in Toyamaken park where you will find a large number of ice sculptures, lights, displays, laser shows, and food and drink stalls. From here it's a short walk through the park to the river bank where you will find the massive snow stage. More food and drink here. Next to the main stage is a huge ice slide to keep the kids (and the kids at heart) entertained for hours. This is also a prime location to watch the fireworks which are fired over the river.
