Just letting you all know that by the end of this week will well be purging any characters who haven't had any activity for over a month and the mun hasn't been in touch. We are counting strikes for those not in semi-hiatus or hiatus who have not complied with the minimum activity of 2 open posts a month.

Also, please remember that hiatus and semi-hiatus is a temporary thing and not a permanent status, and you MUST post a hiatus request here or there is no way we can remember who is and isn't on hiatus! We will be revising all those in semi-hiatus and hiatus and getting in touch to know whether they plan or not to continue.

RIO OLYMPICS
We have been talking about potentially have players join as members of the Japanese Athletic Commission in the Rio Olympics in August. The 1st idea was to have all comm members magically be sent together and make it a monthly event and everyone could be traveling together. But some may not want to send their muses for one reason or another, so I want to know the muns opinions.

This has no basis in reality, but it's part of the comm universe. In reality, Tennis, for instance, only ATP members can 2 other players for each country can complete in each tournament (singles, mixed doubles, doubles). Japan is not completing in Basketball or Volleyball for men, there's also no baseball in the Olympics.

AU WEEK
In most comms I've been part of, there is often a random AU week where characters from Sunday to Saturday live an alternate reality. I'm sure many have played an AU Week in your rp life. Before we do it though, suggestions of scenarios would be great, and then we can all vote on what we would want to play the most. Here are some examples.

Hey people taking part in this... details below... I need to know if you would like me to do random results of if you can sort it out amongst yourselves.

All characters can make it to the quarter finals playing agaist NPCs, apart from one. One must drop in the quarter finals so you an have 4 playing the semis. You can choose who you want them to be playing with, I suppose, so you can plot, or again, I can do both random selection and result.

MUN INTERACTION
It was brought to our attention that sometimes people might feel strange commenting on others' journals because the characters might not know each other or because they might feel awkward not really knowing the mun. The former I'll explain below, but to get to know the members or the comm we have a teanunichat set up on AIM and we encourage all muns to come and join us from time to time - please let us know your aim so we can add you. If you do not have AIM, we encourage you to comment on mod posts, like this one, and get to share ideas with other muns or even private message them.

The OOC community is also made for the sole purpose of having muns chatting, share art, silly memes, ideas for events or even ask if anyone wants to plot. We encourage you to use the OOC comm and get to know other players.

RULE CHAGES. READ CAREFULLY~
Some rules have been change/amended. Because the comm is new, we are shaping it as we go and we had a few things to fix and add. When you have time, please check the rules again. For short, here are some of the chances:

MINIMUM MONTHLY POST: Each of your muses must post 2 open journals a month for interaction purposes. Text messages, screened posts and logs do not count towards your minimum because no one can comment on those. Also, a couple of sentences long posts that could have been together posted on the same day or a day after the other at the end of the month simply to meet the quota will be considered as one journal entry. Please, try to spread out your journals throughout the month and add enough information so others can comment on it.

CHARACTER LIMIT: 2 character can be applied at the same time. After that, 2 months of activity is required for a 3rd. If you have not met your quota with one or more of your muses within the 2 months and they have not interacted with others, your application for a 3rd will not be accepted. For those with 3 characters, you may apply for a 4th girl character if you are active enough. No matter how many girls you have prior to the 4th, all 4th characters must be female in canon. The same 2 months rule applies.

CHARACTER INTERACTION
The Toyama journal system is closed to university students and some staff (we don't have staff characters yet though). That means, once one posts, everyone can have access to it. Your muse would be able to have favourites and follow some to keep track of what is happening to them, however all messages would come up in their feed.

We want to make sure that everyone has reason enough to comment on other muses' journals. If your muse is a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th year or Grad and has joined their course in April, then they definitely have met all those in their club and those in their university due to university events and club activities. They are more than likely to have met other uni members due to living in the same dorm (kitchen, laundry and onsen are shared after all), city festivals, interUni sports events, interUni random events, training camps and sports tournaments. Some muses also work together and that probably develop friendship at a certain level, or at least enough to comment on each other's journals.

If your muse transferred the moment they joined the comm, they would slowly get to know people as events happen, however they already have access to everyone's journals. They will 1st get to know people in their dorm, club and uni, them as events go everyone else.

Remember that they can make new friends and do not need to only comments or befriends with those from their own series. The fun of multifandom is to actually have everyone interact with one another and not be limited to those they knew in their canon days.

If your character is not talkative, they can still use their journal to talk about their studies, exams, club, dorm... anything.

Lastly, for those present in chat, please try not to keep all the plots and ideas in chat alone. Plotting in chat is fab however, you must post journals as well. Only talking in chat, plotting and logging doesn't mean you muse is taking part in the comm, it ends up being a one-on-one/private game, which defeats the purpose of a comm.
