Hello wonderful People! We have a few update for you all and also, before hand, we would like to apologise ( Saaya & Mel) for the lack of updates the past month. Real life can get in the way at times! Anyways, on to the updates!

Activity and Purges:

A reminder to once again be active everyone. We only ask for a minimum of two posts. Of which private posts and text posts don't count. People have to be able to comment on them. We have a three strike rule so if you don't meet the requirement you will get a strike.

Comm Event: Toyama Winter Festival

Toyama will be holding it's annual winter festival from  Feburary 3rd to Feburary 7th. Students from each university will be participating in different stands. (There will be themes for each uni but that will be discussed in another post) Togei students will be working on Ice and Snow sculptures in the coming weeks before the festival and will be working in  teams of two. Each pair will choose on what type of sculpture to make.

For all intents and purposes the festival is an eye pleasing mix of light, ice and snow with visitors able to see fireworks, laser shows, ice sculptures, a massive snow stage with music and dance acts, as well as having the opportunity to sample some of the local food,

The festival's activities are centered in Toyamaken park where you will find a large number of ice sculptures, lights, displays, laser shows, and food and drink stalls. From here it's a short walk through the park to the river bank where you will find the massive snow stage. More food and drink here. Next to the main stage is a huge ice slide to keep the kids (and the kids at heart) entertained for hours. This is also a prime location to watch the fireworks which are fired over the river.

 Hello guys and gals! We will be having a Halloween event that will take place this Saturday October 31st from 9pm-3am at the G-box (local club)  that is located on the same street as  Captain staggers! 

Usually the G-box is only open for 20+ but for Halloween there will be an exception and will allow 18+ ( you must wear a costume) and you will be carded if you want to buy alcohol. 

G-box is divided into two floors and a basement. First floor is mainly a lounge were you will find tables and booths to sit and have a drink and then you have the first floor which will mainly have pop music and the basement which is mainly electronic music ( just for Halloween there will be a special Halloween inspired set-list !) The club will also be decorated accordingly so you will find, cobwebs, bats, skeletons and all of  other fun Halloween-y things.

The G-box will also be hosting  a Costume contest! It will be divided into 4 categories and the winners will all receive an overnight stay at the Enraku Ryokan in Kurobe.  Catch is it's for the same weekend so all of the winners must go on the same weekend! We will be opening a log in the openlog comm and we will place a poll so everyone can vote for the winners! ! We ask that you comment with details or a picture of the costume that your characters will be dressing up as in this post!

Ps: While some characters work Saturday nights,  lets just say things magically gave way for them to not work that Saturday so we can have participation from everyone!
